PAPAYA EXTRACT

The pulp of papaya is yellow-orange in color, juicy, fragrant and sugary, containing numerous black, round and rough pea-sized seeds.

Benefits: Papaya has antioxidant and purifying activity. In addition, papain gives it keratolytic properties, producing an exfoliating effect on the skin’s surface. Its moisturizing action also stands out, thanks to carbohydrates and α-hydroxy acids, the latter also causing a stimulating effect on cell regeneration.

Origin: The Carica papaya is considered a giant herbaceous plant. The most appreciated fruits are those from female plants, and they are berries with an appearance and size similar to a melon, whose weight can vary between half a liter and 8 kilos.

Traditional uses: Papaya juice has traditionally been used as a digestive, to treat diseases of the respiratory tree (asthma, bronchitis, tuberculosis, cough), osteoarthritis and edema.
